Pink Kids Birthday Party featured on Nashville Bride Guide

Charlie Kate’s 1st Birthday by Haley Mantlo Photo

An abundance of pink, shimmering gold, and wintery details made Charlie Kate’s 1st birthday a celebration to remember. There was even a special visit from Santa — which judging by photos Charlie Kate may not be the biggest fan of him just yet, but she still makes crying look cute! Mom, Haley Mantlo, not only put the fun party together, but also captured the best moments and shared them with us! Enjoy this special day below!

What was the theme for the birthday party? Did you choose it or did your child?

Haley: Our theme was Oh What Fun! Charlie Kate is turning One! We had a winter/Santa themed party for Charlie and all of her friends! Santa from Nashville Kids Parties was absolutely amazing! He visited with all of the children, posed for many pictures, and sang Charlie Kate Happy Birthday!

Did you do a cake smash? What was the cake flavor and what did your child do when you presented him/her with the cake?

Haley: We had two beautiful and delicious cakes from Baked on 8th. The main cake was their Vanilla Almond Cake and her smash cake was Strawberry Buttercream!

Were there any games or activities at the party?

Haley: Santa posed for pictures with all of the guests at the party! We also had an arts and crafts table that the other children loved.

Did your child receive any gifts that were special to him/her?

Haley: Charlie’s great-grandparents were able to make it from out of town and wrote a special letter to her and gave her a special doll she will cherish forever! She loves books and received many books she has read over and over!

Could Charlie Kate’s 1st birthday get any cuter?! We think not! Thanks so much to mom, Haley for sharing it with us!
