Filled with the cutest poses, we can’t get enough of Jude’s newborn photo session! This sweet little boy came to Amanda Barrett Photography‘s studio with his mom, dad, and big brother to have some of his first memories captured. The artistic nature of the images are absolutely incredible and those classic family portraits are ones we adore! If you’ve ever teetered between documenting those adorable, squishy newborn moments or not, these photos are sure to convince you that doing so is a MUST!
From the photographer: This was a newborn photography session in Amanda Barrett Photography’s Studio. The family came in for the session, we let them get comfortable, then I got started with baby posing. If there is one thing I know for sure, it is that babies are unpredictable. You can plan and plan for their session, but in the end you just have to go with the flow. Sweet little Jude was perfect during his newborn session, and things went even better than I had planned! We started out with some simple poses and then moved on to some of the more complicated ones. He was a champ! His parents were so excited to have some beautiful photos of their new baby. I think we captured some beautiful images during our session together. We got plenty photos of Jude in sweet cuddly poses, some cute detail shots, sibling photos, and of course the first family photo with Jude.
He was so cuddly and sleepy that his mama was surprised and called me “the baby whisperer,” because it was unusual for him to sleep so soundly. Because he slept so well, we were able to get a full session and then some in about 2 hours! I always tell families to expect the session to last from 2-4 hours. I was able to squeeze in more poses than I had initially expected or planned to get to (it always varies depending on how well baby tolerates posing and changes). The family was so sweet and seemed to enjoy their session. All of the backdrops and props used during this session were Hello Little Props, they’re my favorite vendor!
