At six months, a baby’s world is ever changing! And Kinley Rose’s is no exception! Her mama Kaitlin enlisted the help of Dolly DeLong Photography to capture Kinley’s world through a series of adorable photos. Why did you decide to do a photo session now?
Kaitlin: Babies change so much in the first year, I wanted to make sure to capture some photos at the 6 month milestone. I had a very hard time breastfeeding, but had managed to continue to combo feed and I was very proud of my efforts and thought a milk bath session was a fun way to commemorate reaching a breastfeeding goal I never dreamed I could reach.
What was your vision for the session?
Kaitlin:I wanted her milk bath session to feel dreamy and feminine.
How did Kinley react during the photo session?
Kaitlin: She was a little unsure at first but ended up enjoying the water.
What was it like working with your photographer?
Kaitlin:Dolly is always an absolute pleasure to work with. She makes the sessions feel so relaxed and comfortable, and she is amazing with kids.
What are some of Kinley’s favorite things at this stage? What are some of your favorite memories?
Kaitlin: At the time of the session Kinley was rolling, sitting, and babbling. She recognizes her name, loves books and thinks our two dogs are the hilarious.
