Light & Airy Maternity Session from Lindsey Brown Photography

A branding shoot turned into a sweet, light and airy maternity session for Lindsey Brown Photography. Catching the sweet sun and freezing the exciting moments in time, three local Nashville photographers captured Lindsey and her beautiful bump in between their headshots, leaving us with these great photos to share and inspire. Tell us about you guys as a couple/family!

Lindsey: My husband, Robby, and I have been married for a little over 7 years now! We are blessed with an almost two year old daughter named Cadence. We can’t wait for her to meet her new little sister in just a few months!

What was the moment like when you found out you were pregnant?

Lindsey: Absolutely MAGICAL! We actually found out while on a vacation this February at Disney! It was our first time away from our daughter Cadence for an extended period. We were so excited to get away for a few days (even more thankful for that time now — literally the week after we got home was when everything started closing and we had to start quarantining!). Disney is exhausting by itself, but I felt a little more tired than I thought I ought to be that week. We grabbed a test to see if my hunch was right , and we were over the moon to find out I was pregnant!

How did you announce you were pregnant to your family/friends?

Lindsey: Since we found out while at Disney that we were pregnant, we picked up a newborn onesie featuring Mickey Mouse while there. Once we were back home, we told the family we had a souvenir gift for them and let them open the gift to find the onesie! They were so surprised and excited for us!

How far along are you in the maternity photos?

Lindsey: 30 weeks!

How did you come up with your concept/location for your photos?

Lindsey: This was a very unique shoot! I am a photographer myself, and I connected with Dolly, Grace, and Chelsea through a Facebook group we’re in for local photographers. We decided to meet up for a headshot swap in Murfreesboro at a local Airbnb, and that is where we got the photos!

What was it like during the shoot working with the photographer?

Lindsey: These ladies are THE sweetest! It was so nice of them to get a few bump shots of me during our headshot swap! These ladies are all moms themselves, so they understand the importance of capturing this season of life. Not only do they understand it, they capture it so so so beautifully!
