Tell us all about the planning for the birthday party!When we were blessed with our little lucky charm on St. Patrick’s Day, I immediately started planning her party in my head. I created my own graphics and pulled inspiration from Pinterest to create my dream party theme. In planning I also started thinking about her 1 year photo shoot. Mayo Photography as been along for the journey since our Newborn Session for Lizzie James. Marissa is amazing to work with and is always up for whatever ideas I have. She made our 1 year photo shoot so fun! It was a great way to jump start her birthday month and we cannot wait to celebrate her at her party.
What was the theme for the birthday party? Did you choose it or did your child?Our little Lucky Charm. I chose it.
Did you do a cake smash? What was the cake flavor and what did your child do when you presented him/her with the cake?We will be doing a smash cake at her party!
What are some fun memories you’ve had of your child at this age?This age has been nothing short of magical. Watching her learn knew things every day is so fun. Her personality is infectious and we love watching her grow!
What are you looking forward to in this next year of their life?We can’t wait to see her start to gain more confidence and develop more of her personality. I can only imagine what all she will have to say once she starts talking!
