Halloween is here and we have quite the treat for you today on Nashville Baby Guide! It’s Jess’s Little Pumpkin Baby Shower! The sweet fall setting was perfect for a pumpkin theme complete with an apple dipping bar, a pumpkin candy guessing game and all of the other fall details created by Romance & Rust Weddings & Events! Tell us all about the baby shower! Where it took place, who was there, etc.!
Kathy of Romance & Rust: Jessica & Zach’s little pumpkin baby shower took place at the couples church where Zach grew up, Greenbrier United Methodist Church. They were surrounded by lots of family and friends, as well as church members who have known Zach since he was born, making this shower for his little one extra special.
Was there a theme? What was the decor like?
Kathy: The theme was “A Little Pumpkin is on the way”. I found a plaid in blue, orange, rust, and cream which is where the inspiration began. Fabric, as well as real, pumpkins mingled among the decor. With Jessica and Zach expecting a baby boy, we incorporated blue pickup trucks as well. The apple dipping station was a big hit! Sweet treats included apple cider donuts, cream cheese pumpkin roll, an adorable cake, pumpkin and apple mini pies tied with the plaid material strips, and the cutest decorated cookies. Guests left sweet notes in the “Pumpkin Pie” book as their guest book. They wrote their favorite family traditions on note cards, enjoyed pumpkin caramels as a take home treat, and took a guess at how many candy pumpkins were in the jar.
How did the parents react during the baby shower?
From Jessica, Mom: We loved the color palette used to give the shower a true fall/festive atmosphere. The attention to detail recapping our lives up to that point, was also fun to reminisce on as we transitioned to our new journey.
Did the baby receive any specific gifts that were very thoughtful or special?
From Jessica, Mom: We received some clothing/items that referenced the Tennessee Vols (Dad’s favorite team) which were a bit hit and fit in perfectly with the fall theme of our shower.
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
Jessica: We’ve been lucky enough to have Romance & Rust for both our wedding and baby shower and they both have been more than we could’ve hoped for! They take the time to make sure nothing is missed and make your ideal showers come to real life. We cannot thank them enough for how perfect they’ve made our milestones in life!
