When we see a newborn session from Evie Lynn Photography come across our desks, we just know it’s bound to be a good one. Needless to say, sweet little Caleb’s photos left us aww-ing over the cuteness that was captured! Perfectly posed and outfitted with the best props, Caleb looked adorable in each image – be it posing solo or embracing cuddles from mom and dad. Tell us all about your new baby!
Nicole: His name is Caleb E. Hernandez, he was born May 21.
How was your pregnancy?
Nicole: It was very smooth, and healthy thankfully.
Tell us about his/her birth!
Nicole: I was induced at 39 weeks and 2 days, he was born 7 lb 5oz and 20 1/4 inches. Beautiful baby with lots of hair.
How have you been doing since he came into your life?
Nicole: I have been doing really good, we dealt with some jaundice and we had to bring him to the hospital every 2 days get him light therapy and all of it was emotionally tiring.
Did you have a vision for the newborn session?
Nicole: I showed Evie the photos from her portfolio that I loved and she was amazing at displaying options and showing us color options etc.
What was it like working with your photographer?
Nicole: It was so great, because she took care of it all. She made the process completely stress free, made sure every step of the process was clear and gave us great tips for preparing baby Caleb for the session since he woke up on the day of the shoot like keeping him awake, feeding him before heading to her studio and other great tips that helped make the 4 hour session a breeze.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your session or your newborn?
Nicole: She is extremely prepared, talented and knowledgeable about newborn babies. Everyone we show her work is amazed by the quality of her work, and the beautiful staging and poses she did in all the photos including posing us with baby Caleb.
