Are you ready to meet other parents in the same phase of life as you? Do you want to feel confident about your little one’s development and learn ways to nurture skills? Well, you’ve come to the right place!
Parents and Play offers ‘Parents & Me’ styled groups led by an experienced, pediatric expert focused on using play as the foundation for early parenthood by equipping parents with proven strategies and techniques to enhance the development of their little ones.
Groups are small, limited to 4 families, and meet weekly for 4 weeks of parenting support and fun developmental activities. Weekly meetings focus on helping parents navigate the areas of emotional, cognitive, physical and social development, while providing you with play activities to support your little one’s development at home. We picked Saturdays as a way to help working parents and/or both parents attend with their little one and learn about development together while making new friends and sharing your parenting journey.
All participants will receive a digital workbook of materials learned throughout the duration of the group, as well as access to a private Facebook group. Various other professionals will participate in meetings throughout the series.
Topics include: language development, getting ready for potty training, picky eaters, toddler behavior, toy recommendations, supporting gross and fine motor skill development, community resources, and hands-on play activities!
Topics covered in each group are customized based on the needs of the parents and little ones. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and unbiased space where families become a support network for each other, while learning ways to foster the development of their little one.
