Gentzkow Family Photo Session from Lindsay Reed

Embracing their moments as a family of three, while documenting the excitment of becoming a family of four, the Gentzkow family had the sweetest family photo session with Lindsay Reed Photography. Although little Caroline was unsure of the session, her personality still shined through the camera-shyness, bringing smiles to mom and dad too! See all the love and joy in some of our favorites below!

Tell us all about your family!

Brianne: Matthew and I have been married for 4.5 years. We met at Xavier University in Cincinnati and returned home (to me!) to Nashville following graduation to begin our family starting with our sweet pup, Cooper (who sat this shoot out because 2-year olds)! Caroline joined us in October of 2017 and has been keeping us on our toes ever since! She is smart and silly and every bit as sassy as she is sweet. She keeps us laughing and has truly been the greatest blessing and addition to our family. We are beyond thrilled to welcome Baby #2 early in the new year!

Why did you decide to do the shoot now?

Brianne: We are in such a fun season and transition of life! Not only did we want to capture the essence of our family in the here and now, we also wanted to celebrate our newest arrival and the joy, excitement, and anticipation he/she is already bringing to our family.

What was the concept for your shoot? What was your vision?

Brianne: Our hope was to capture real, raw family moments. We love how Lindsay encourages a fairly neutral palette in a natural setting to keep the focus on these precious moments.

How did your kids react during the photo shoot?

Brianne: Caroline was so excited to see Mrs. Lindsay for pictures and had been practicing her “cheese face” all morning. True to her shy-character, she clammed up during our session and clung to her Daddy. This made for some pretty precious snuggle pictures and Lindsay was still able to snap a few smiles!

What was it like working with your photographer?

Brianne: Lindsay was so, so great to work with! Prior to our session, she took the time to get to know our family and came completely prepped with all the stops to connect with Caroline (including a favorite Cookie Monster toy!) She was patient with our strong-willed little and made our entire family feel at ease from our initial contact throughout our entire shoot. We also appreciate Lindsay’s prompt communication and turn around time. We cannot wait to work with her again in January!

So adorable and the aesthetic in every photo is beautiful! Thanks so much to Brianne and the Gentzkow family and to Lindsay Reed Photography for documenting such an exciting time!
