Pretty in pink with a bright and airy feel, Lindsay was surrounded by so much love (and really cute decor!) for her Nashville baby shower. Our husbands work together, and I was honored to attend the shower to celebrate her new baby girl! A group of Lindsay’s friends put together the ultimate celebration! From the darling balloon arch to the look on her face, these sweet moments were captured by Lindsay’s good friend (and host) Melissa Haithcock. Enjoy some highlights of the day below!
Tell us all about your baby shower! Where it took place, who was there, etc.!
Lindsay: My sister, Taylor, enlisted the help of a few great friends (Melissa Haithcock, Cassidy Lynch, and Kelsi Greenfield) to throw an elegant and relaxed shower to celebrate my baby girl. Melissa hosted in her (newly renovated by Melissa and her husband) home in East Nashville. Cassie made an impressive cheese board and the cake was from Whole Foods. Someone made an awesome fall cider. I was showered with beautiful little girl clothes and baby essentials! I felt incredibly loved and supported by a wonderful group of women.
Was there a theme? What was the decor like?
Lindsay: There wasn’t a theme, but the colors felt like vibrant jewel/fall-tones. It was a perfectly sunny and chilly fall day.
How did you feel during your baby shower?
Lindsay: I felt so relaxed and happy during the shower, which was just what I hoping for. It was a time shared with my closest friends and it was just exciting to reflect on this upcoming time of my life.
Did you receive any specific gifts that were very thoughtful or special to you?
Lindsay: I only have one other child, a boy, and while dressing a boy is easier, I was just really excited to receive pretty little floral clothing and cute girl hats for my little winter lady!
