A Nostalgic Newborn Session Filled with Heirlooms

This family of three knew just how to document some of their first moments with their sweet little babe. They enlisted the talents of Kristie Lloyd Photography to capture a nostalgic newborn session filled with heirlooms. Mama, Ellen not only designed a gender neutral nursery with the quaintest of elements, but kept the legacy of certain family details alive through the aesthetic. Enjoy these warm and light-hearted images that are bound to make you smile.

From the photographer:

True traditionalists, this couple chose not to find out the baby’s sex until birth, but that didn’t stop mom from designing her dream nursery. She poured so much love and attention into creating a warm and inviting space for baby – including true heirlooms saved from her and her brother’s own infancy. The Feltman Brothers’ heirloom gown is almost 30 years old and was worn home from the hospital by baby’s mother and his uncle in the early 90’s.

Baby’s mother, Ellen Hart, has a true passion for traditional and heirloom style children’s clothing. She is the owner of the Instagram Children’s Trunks Brentwood where she hosts trunk sales of high-end, custom kid’s clothing. You can also shop her son’s gently used clothing on her Instagram page Brentwood Children’s Closet.

Everything about this session filled my cup! The parents. The baby. The heirlooms. I’m in love with it all. Even more, I love the love that was so evident in their newborn session.

Huge thank you to Kristie Lloyd Photography for sharing this sweet nostalgic newborn session filled with heirlooms.
