Playful Film Family Photo Session with Erin Fox Families

As if we thought photos outdoors with natural light couldn’t get any more beautiful, sticking the Cannon family in front of the lens made this playful film family photo session with Erin Fox Families unforgettable. Mom, Casey, who is in the wedding industry was expecting her second daughter at the time of this photo shoot with her husband Nick who is a children’s book illustrator. Together with their adorable daughter Eden they let Erin work her charm. The relaxed, and completely natural approach allowed for Eden’s little personality to shine in addition to the love that this family has for one another. Get ready to smile, because the ones in these images are surely contagious!

Tell us all about the family!

Erin (photographer): The Cannons are an extremely kind-hearted family. Casey and I work together for weddings – she’s a wedding planner. She is one of the sweetest people I know! I got to meet her husband Nick and daughter Eden for this session. At the time, they were getting ready to welcome another baby girl into the family. She is such an encouraging friend, and this session was my way of thanking her for all she’s done for me and my business in the last few years. Casey’s husband Nick is a children’s book illustrator and talented artist as well. Eden is a fun, curly-haired two year old with the sweetest personality.

What was the concept for your shoot? What was your vision?

Erin: I wanted to capture real moments of joy and let Eden just do her thing! I didn’t want the session to feel too forced or posed – rather focus on the family’s love for one another and their excitement for welcoming a new baby sister into the family. I encouraged Eden to play and mom and dad to embrace her in her element. It resulted in some super cute moments!

How did the kids react during the photo shoot?

Erin: Eden was so fun! Probably my favorite 2 year old ever. 2 year olds are a workout, but in the best way possible. I loved watching her run around and play with her parents. At the end of the session at Smith Park, we heard and saw the train come down by the field by the railroad tracks. Eden was amused, and those are some of the most hilarious photos!

Huge thank you to Erin for sharing the Cannon family’s playful film family photo session with us!
