Hey there. My name is Tanya and I’m the owner of Tennessee Family Doulas! One of the things we do amazingly well is to provide care for moms and babies in the newborn days. We call it Postpartum & Infant Care Support! We aren’t Nannies or Night Nurses, because we focus on moms physical and emotional health as much as we do on newborn care. We can be with you during the day and lend a hand with running errands, snack and meal prep, talk through baby care, questions you have about your healing, and baby’s sleep and feeding. Of course we can care for baby while you grab a long shower, nap, or while you enjoy an uninterrupted cup of your favorite hot beverage. And then, there’s the overnight support, which has proven to be our most popular offering. During our time with you overnight, we care for baby while you soundly sleep. We can wake you for feedings or feed the baby ourself. We do all the diapering, swaddling, and getting baby back to sleep so that your eyes can close and your body can fully rest and recover.
