A girl who gets to have a month-long birthday celebration is a special one! And that’s why today is an action-packed post celebrating Hollyn’s 7th birthday! Her lego birthday party was a dream thanks to the help of Piece of Mind Events‘ Lego Birthday Box specifically designed for Hollyn’s kids party! From Franklin, TN, to Crystal Lake, IL, to Marco Island, FL, Hollyn traveled the country to visit all of her favorite people to celebrate turning SEVEN! How is my baby seven?! A fun time was had by all at the Williamson County Parks and Rec splash pad and pool! Hollyn celebrated her lego themed pool party with a bang as friends from her class, neighbors, cousins and friends joined in on the fun. Piece of Mind Events came through magically for this event with Hollyn’s Lego birthday box filled to the brim with themed decor and paper goods for her party. Not to mention, Piece of Mind Events put together customized Lego goodie bags for each guest. The challenge was that the party was outside under a pavilion, so we could not have any decor items secured to walls or confetti. Shardé with Piece of Mind Events came through with fun decorations to cover the tables all while Kate from Blackheart Cookie Co. designed really fun Unikitty and Lego movie cookies for Hollyn’s special day. The cake from Cakes+Co was shaped as an actual Lego brick with funfetti flavor.
Next, we celebrated Hollyn’s actual birthday in Illinois with family! We spent the morning at a cute little community festival featuring the Strikers – a drum line group who performed some hits! Hollyn had to get her favorite custard from Julie Ann’s and playing in the sand was a must!
Later that afternoon, we spent the day celebrating Hollyn’s cousin Mila’s sweet 1st birthday! Her Mexican themed party was complete with a piñata. And as the oldest child at the party, Hollyn was the perfect candidate to take the big swing at the piñata to break it open! Her family and friends made her feel so special on her birthday – and Mila’s too!
The evening of Hollyn’s birthday, we celebrated with a homemade cake and gifts from family. And yes, this included more LEGOS! 🙂
Finally, we drove all the way to Marco Island, FL for a family vacation with the grandparents and cousins! There, we celebrated Hollyn’s birthday yet again with more family. A flamingo cake, balloons and fun times with the cousins were had!
