Tell us all about the baby shower!
Jenna: Lauren’s sister Ashley hosted the shower at her home. Most of the guests were extended family members.
Was there a theme? What was the decor like?
Jenna: Yes! The theme was mountain adventure, based off Beau’s nursery. We had a lot of fun bringing the mountains inside! My favorite detail were the paper mâché cones that Ashley painted gray with white caps to look like mountains. We also put a moss runner down the length of the table. Our colors were grey, hunter green, navy, and pops of orange. Other details were the tissue paper tassels, moose paper garland, and tree stumps for food risers. The cake and cookies also had mountain and evergreen tree details. The guests LOVED the trail mix bar, that fit right in with the theme. We purchased paper treat bags from Etsy that said “and so the adventure begins” and guests were able to fill their bags with our create-your-own adventure trail mix station.
What was the feeling surrounding the baby shower?
Jenna: Everyone was super excited to meet Beau!
