Meet Alyssa DiCicco – Owner and Blogger of Nashville Baby Guide

Hello! Wow – this blog has been in the works for quite some time and I am so excited to finally begin this crazy journey known as Nashville Baby Guide! I decided to create a Nashville baby and kids blog as a resource for Nashville parents going through the same things we’re going through as parents. Plus, I also saw a need to feature all of YOUR fabulous Nashville area families on the blog – from your creative kids birthday parties and baby showers to the fun family photo sessions, let’s shine some light on what Nashville families are all about.

As a mom to two kiddos ages 3 and 1, I’ve grown to love the Nashville parenting community. I saw a need for a great local parent-centered online publication – one that would showcase our community’s best family photography, events, advice and local resources for parents and babies. And after years of blogging personally + professionally, and guiding brides for 3 years over on NashvilleBrideGuide.com, I’m overjoyed to combine my loves to bring you Nashville Baby Guide!

I’m originally from the Chicago area, but Nashville has been my home base for 10 years. What’s a girl to do when she’s not blogging + momming? In my free time you’ll find me hanging out at The Factory and downtown Franklin, having dance parties with my three-nager, cuddling my 1 year old, watching the Bachelor, listening to small business podcasts, cheering on the Blackhawks (sorry Preds fans!) and visiting family up north.

As you can see, my husband loves dabbling with photography, so from time to time, you’ll see some of our family photos and fun we have around the house (and around Nashville/Franklin!). You hear it all the time – your kids grow up in the blink of an eye. So I wanted to give all of you parents a trusted local Nashville resource to turn to for not only for kid-spiration for your family celebrations, but also for advice from local businesses who want to serve YOU – the moms and dads of Nashville, TN. You’ll find a handy dandy directory with lots of categories of trusted local professionals like family photographers and baby invitation designers.

So here’s to not feeling alone in this whole thing we call parenthood! Let’s band together and join forces to give each other support and inspiration through little sleep and exhaustion – but celebrating all the joy that comes with every stage of your kids’ childhood. Join the Nashville Baby Guide Facebook community HERE and also be sure to subscribe to our newsletter HERE to stay up on the latest happenings in the Nashville Baby Guide community!

I can’t wait to see what the future holds and I’m excited to watch all of your adorable kids grow up alongside mine in Nashville! Here’s to growing in community together!
