Oh how I love a Nashville family photo session – and this one in particular is such a fun one! Photographer Jenna Henderson photographed the Vongsamphanh family at their new home in Nashville. Their twin daughters were such a joy as they played with their dogs, created some art and cuddled with mom and dad in bed. The photos really capture what would really happen on any given day in the Vongsamphanh home and they are photos that will be cherished by them for life. Take a look at their session below!
Tell us about your family!
Amber: John and I have been married for 12 years and we have twin girls, Charlotte and Audrey, who will be 7 very soon.
Why did you decide to do the shoot now?
Amber: We recently moved into what we hope to be our forever home – where I see the girls growing up and what I hope they will think of when they think of home.
What was the vision for your shoot?
Amber: I wanted Jenna to document us in our home, just hanging out. I wanted it to be very relaxed and casual.
How did your kids react during the photo shoot?
Amber: Jenna is great with kids. She made the shoot into a game and the girls were happy to play along.
Were there any challenges along the way?
Amber: One of my girls is very spirited and she doesn’t always love having her photo made. Jenna handled it like the pro she is.
What was it like working with your photographer, Jenna Henderson?
Amber: Even in a relaxed, casual shoot, Jenna is in control of the scene and has a wonderful eye for detail.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your family lifestyle session?
Amber: I chose Jenna for this shoot not only because of her eye and talent, but because of her medium. Her use of film just adds so much to the images. They are rich and real and something we will treasure for years to come.
