Tell us about Sitting Made Simple! How long have you been in business?
Lindsey: Sitting Made Simple® is a local babysitting service that connects area families with college sitters. Whether you need a last minute sitter, before & after school care, summer sitting- SMS® has you covered! The SMS® Sitters are interviewed in person, have a clean background check, driving record, and are CPR certified. Contact local Mom and owner, Lindsey McPherson via phone, email or book your SMS® Sitter with our online tool! We’ve been operating in the Nashville area for almost 3 years.
What made you want to work with families?
Lindsey: I love and am passionate about Moms. SMS® Nashville is committed in helping Moms (and Dads!) have an easier day. Because you know what? Being a parent is hard work. It isn’t hard because you are doing something wrong- or doing something right- it’s just hard because… that’s life. As a Mom of two busy kids I know how difficult it can be and at SMS® Nashville we don’t judge or criticize. We just want to be a part of your village; a part of your team. We’re here when you need a date night, a trip to the store, a girls lunch, or to work at the office. We’re just here for you and your family.
What are your strengths compared to others sitting services?
Lindsey:One thing that sets SMS® Nashville a part from others is our “human” aspect. You always have access via email, phone, or text to an actual person sitting in Nashville. Not a call center, not a “contact@” email address. The people you are communicating with are from your neighborhoods and we know our sitters personally.
