From Morli:

The Baby Shower is a long standing tradition, however just like weddings these traditions also have evolved over time. Co-ed baby showers are becoming increasingly popular as well as gender neutral showers. A baby shower is not only for the baby but also for the Parents to Be. Our baby shower consisted of the theme “We Can Bearly Wait”. We combined our gender reveal with our baby shower and found out the gender of our baby alongside our family and friends, which made the day even more special. We played games, ate great food, enjoyed the beautiful weather at our indoor and outdoor venue and created memories of a lifetime.

Our Venue was the Debut Ballroom and Terrace at the Tempo by Hilton. The indoor outdoor venue with a lush green lawn, outdoor furniture, and large accordion doors opening to the indoor space allowed guests to enjoy the weather and mingle amongst each other. The food was a mix of brunch and lunch and had bites such as mushroom toast, chickpea fritters, lamb sliders and egg sandwhiches. No party is complete without a bar and ours consisted of a wide range of juices, mimosas, beer, wine and soft drinks as well as coffee and tea. We played fun co ed games such as ‘Bottle Chuggging’, ‘Name that Baby Tune’ and ‘Doing the Baby’s Laundry’. Our photographer Erin Coe Photography captured these special moments beautifully. Our decorator Nashville Event Pro’s created the perfect ambience with a sage, blush and cream color scheme, teddy bear center pieces, a beautiful table scape, an outdoor baby marquee, custom thank you cards and a desert display full of custom cookies, cake pops, and a 2 tier custom cake. I wore a maternity dress by Club London which was beautiful, comfortable, and fit the color scheme perfectly. My husband wore a sports coat from Men’s Wearhouse to match. The entire vision was executed flawlessly.

Tell us about the moment you found out you were pregnant!

Morli: We had a rough journey with fertility. When I finally got the lab test that confirmed pregnancy I couldn’t believe it! I was excited and scared at the same time. I wanted to surprise my husband so I put the lab report in an envelope in our mailbox and had him check the mail that night. When he opened it he was so surprised and tears of joy made an appearance.

How have you been feeling during your pregnancy so far?

Morli: I feel grateful and nervous. I’ve stayed active during my pregnancy by attending Prenatal Yoga Classes at Nurture Nashville and have a personal trainer – Sarah who helps with pelvic floor and core strength. I get monthly massages at Massage envy and these allows the rest that I need!

Huge thank you to this couple for sharing their incredible co-ed baby shower! We can’t wait for the arrival of your little one!
